So death is off limits, but intense amounts of pain -- my track star niece just ripped her AL last year and it & here subsequent rehab were harrowing -- that's acceptable?

Usually morality decisions don't factor in the degree of suffering, something can't be morally OK if it is only xx % of suffering of something that's not morally acceptable, but .... err, OK.

I've said for years now, the only 2 people in the NFL i wish to inflict pain upon is Tom Brady and Bill Bellichick. One down, one to go

For me it would be Michael Vick because of what he did to all those dogs.

I thought BB was a technical genius HC who had a plan and strategy to win, put his players in the best position to win, could out think the opposition at every turn. Turns out it was cheating and bulletin board material. Go figure

But he did bring some VLTs to the NEPs and not as HC of the NYJs.

i didn't cheer when he got hit however i cheered and ran around the block when he went on i.r. not that i want him in pain or anything.it's just cause it helps the jets.i don't want to see anyone get hurt or suffer but this is freakin football and some one was gonna lose a star player this year like every year and if its gonna happen who better ?

I always hated Eagles fans for cheering for injuries. Have we stooped to that level?

I like to see a good hard lick and it doesn't bother me a bit if the guy is slow getting up but I want him to do just that, get up under his own power, take a minute on the sidelines and come back in the game.

Sorry, not looking to maim or cripple and don't enjoy it when I see it.

Personally, I think that cheering the Brady injury is sort of pathetic, All it does is pump of Brady as this unbeatable QB and say that our team's weren't that good, but now that this unstoppable guy is injured, we have a shot.

I have never drank the Brady Kool-Aid.....I just don't see it in him.....he does his job and does it well but he is not spectacular. Tom Brady has the NE front office to thank for himself much more than the Pats have Brady to thank for their success.

That's a retarded statement. The Boston media and fans are HORRIBLE!!!! I know, I use to live up there. Much worse than New York. Remember, we are Jet fans here; the New York media generally don't even like us.... The Boston media has rug burn.

BTW, the report of cheers came from the New York Times; A paper on par in respectability with the Village Voice and with only a slightly better sports section .
