15 fumbles?

 

I like the idea of trading our 6 pick with McFadden on teh board to Detroit for Roy Williams and their 12 (where we would take a cornerback)- then hopefully we could grab a pass rushing OLB or talented DE in round 2

 

Strictly from a fantasy stand point, and most likely won't happen, but the trade possibility that intrigues me is # 6 & Coles for Larry Fitzgerald.

 

Maybe if Zona throws in some picks.

 

Fitsy is about to sign in Philly. They just cleared up cap room with the Spikes cut.

 

So far, the rumor is, they have offered a second. Az turnned it down. if they cough up their first, they probably will have a deal.

From the Jets stand point I think it resolves several problems.

At #6, unless your a McFadden fan, which I'm not, there might not be anyone there that fits the Jets. It's an awful lot of money for #6. if they were to give Fitzgerald a new contract, it would only cost a few million more then # 6. We sure could use Fitzgerald.

Coles is going to cause some major problems this season. This would take care of that, and his 11 million dollar contract over the next two season.

The Jets wuld also be getting a major proven play maker.

McFadden and Hardy could be the Jets version of Bush and Colston.
