People complained about 51PA getting the axe, well sure enough someone took his place. This is great:lol:
Whoa. You just brought up something, 51pa------------5180. Both have 51's in them. The also have Jetsfan in their screen names too. 51pa stated in his chat with Dino about coming back and them not knowing about it. Both make some real bizarre statements and are Lakers fans......... hmmmmmmmmmmmm.............. I have to watch some X-files now.
Although there is no disputing your cap ramifications, if you do release him (Blaylock) it clears a roster spot. If we draft a RB high, Curtis will be sticking around, I would rather keep Houston as the third RB over Blaylock. He showed me nothing last year in his minimal carries. Always ran straight up and right into the pile. Showed no vision or change of direction ability. If we are breaking this thing down I would have no problem taking the hit of cutting him and keeping the young guy. JMHO....
Big Country and Buttle Man i can assure i have never been here before under another alias. We all come here to armchair quaterback issues with the Jets.We all have different opinions and viewpoints.Criticising a person for this and for sometimes not using proper grammar is WRONG.The world is not a perfect place and the Jets are not a perfect team.I am not a Lakers fan i am a local sports fan i root for the Nets since they have been in existence.I am a lifelong Jets fan and season ticket holder.I do not come on here looking for confrontation or arguments.I am a very open minded fan who wants the organization to succeed.I make mention of the training camp locations that the organization is considering and you all jump all over me because they are in N.J. Not my choice not my deal.We are all supposed to be Jets fans and not be so critical of one anothers opinions.Im sure im not the first person you have decided to gang up on and im sure i wont be the last. Have a nice day.
Cutting Blaylock costs us a minimum of 1.15M over keeping him. 920K to cut him. At minimum 230K to replace him, probably a lot more.
I have no problem with that if we draft our RB of the future. As I mentioned, in that scenario I would rather keep the young Houston over Blaylock as the 3rd RB. There is always dead money on the cap, if we are making wholesale changes the decisions should be based on talent not cap. Just an opinion...
