    Campbell? As in Jason Campbell?

My prediction before the draft was that Sanchez would go too high. Honestly, I thought Cleveland would take Sanchez, trade Quinn to us, and start Anderson while they develop Sanchez. That was assuming he got by STL and SEA.

I'm very glad it didn't end up with Brady Quinn as a Jet. I never really wanted that, but I thought the Jets would make a move for a QB. Right team, wrong player.

I figured the Skins were the only real threat at snatching up Sanchez before us.

I thought of Curry as, pound for pound, the best and safest player in the entire draft, so I wasn't shocked to see SEA take him at 4.

No way Sanchez was lasting past the 49ers, Bills and Broncos. Any one of those teams would have picked him in a heartbeat, except maybe the Broncos. I think we all knew going into the draft that we were going to have to battle it out with the Redskins for the Jaguars' 8th pick. The fact that Tanny recognized who he was up against (Snyder) and made the play for the 5th pick, speaks volumes of his ability as a GM. We would have spent a hell of a lot more in a bidding war at the 8th pick. Or worse, we would have just let the Redskins have him.

That's how I felt, especially in regards to Seattle, although Curry was a great choice, I figured with Hasslebeck dealing with myriad of injuries that was the way they'd go. I didn't expect St. Louis would go QB simply because that team is such a mess, they have a WHOLE team to build, and would picking near the top again this year.

My dad was in the hospital at the time, so I went there to watch the draft with him (and snuck in a 6 pack) when Sanchez slipped down and a trade announcement was made, we were both very happy....... then they showed the 2 ding-dongs on tv.

Campell? I think you mean Freeman?
