    That was Fun.....

Man, there's something to be said about Al Groh.... I'd take him back way before Herm... Guy knows more about the game than Herm ever will..A Herm team never comes back from that...

And that Miami team was full of punks - You see the guys flopping allover the place in the 1st half to go with all the trash talk they dished out...

If EVER a team deserved a comeback like this it was Miami that night.

The best is Arnie S saying in a half time interview that the NYJs will win the game!

I wish I had NFL Network in the offseason so I could have watched this again. I'm going to have to find it on DVD or something.

Anyway, I remember it like it was yesterday. A Dolphins fan called me at halftime to talk shit about the game. I told them that the jets had all the momentum and they were going to come back and win. After screaming like a maniac in my dorm room at about 1AM I remembered the sorry fins fan calling me at halftime. I called them, waking them up, and screamed J-E-T-S in their ear before hanging up.

    what a game.

So in the light of watching that game, does anybody see what we're missing now with Chad instead of a gun like Vinny?

I don't remember seeing Vinny throwing any 70 yard bombs that game, sorry. It's funny that you mention this in a game where our FB had over 10 catches. But Chad likes to dump off

I always liked Al Groh. That team that year was always being creative and doing things like the Jumbo Elliot TD, or the LB taking the handoff on 4th and 2. Gimmicky I know, but it was fun to watch.

Man, I remember that game like it was yesterday. The Jets were losing big on October 23rd. Then October 24th rolls around (midnight) and the Jets all seemed to stand up and say "You know what? It's Bill's birthday. Let's go win him this game!"

    Best birthday present ever.

Well, except for the Wonder Woman costume my wife bought to wear for me.

And maybe the Playmobil pirate ship I got when I was 8.

But it was a pretty damn good birthday present.

I think the major thing we saw was ADJUSTMENTS and an INNOVATIVE offense that didn't play scared like a Herm / Hackett team.

And I think we have that again now with Mangini and Schott......

This is Chad's 1st season in a while in the same system without rehab..... Not the worst thing in the world especially with a high draft pick waiting in the wings.... If Chad can't do it we move on.... But, he deserves the starting spot at this point.

What a great game! I'm like alot of you guys, I remember it like is was yesterday. I had tears in my eyes watching the beauty of Vinny to Wayne and Curtis. Oh boy I sure do miss them.

The Hubby thought I was nutz screaming "Wayne's World", jumping around and crying over a game 7 years old. Beer and kleenex, what a combo.

And Dennis Miller SUCKED on MNF.

i cant believe that was 7 years ago, i remember i was at college and all the guys wanted to turn the game off at half time to watch... wrestling! they all thanked me for hiding the remote. man we had some linebackers back then, cox, lewis, jones, and farrior. that's deadly right there.

    Watching that game, I forgot
-how many passes the running backs
    -how much Scott Frost sucked
-Laverneus Coles couldn't catch a cold the whole first part of the game
-How clutch Chrebet was that game
-That 3 Jets scored their first NFL touchdowns that game - Coles, Wiggins, and Jumbo
    -That Abraham didn't play.
-That Marvin Jones was a damn good tackler.
-That we basically won games that year with no recievers.
