I know that about the MNF-SNF thing. See post 25. Record for times sacked is 104 by the 1986 Eagles. Raiders probably won't get that. However, at this rate they will clinch second on the list (78, Arizona, 1997).
I know you know Just pointing out that despite the Raiders not getting any MNF games last year, Moss certainly warrented the league to give the team a lot more exposure. No way they get the opener vs. the Pats without the intrigue of Moss opening up with the Raiders against the World Champs on Prime Time. Etc.
Yeah, Monday Night records don't mean too much. It would be like noting baseball team records in day games. We all know the Sunday Night Football is the new "game of the week" and the ESPN games are just games played on Mondays on ESPN. The thing is the league will include the current and future MNF games with their 1970-2005 MNF records. And there is such a thing. Monday Night records are actually kept, for what they are worth. I personally don't like the switch. I liked the "game of the week" on Monday night. It especially sucks this year because I watch two tv shows on Sunday nights. I haven't watched too much of the Sunday night action this year.
Sunday Night games have been good so far, and will continue to be the best prime time game around, but I'm finding it hard to really get into a game at night after watching 3 hours of Jets and paying attention to 3 more hours of NFL action. But I suppose the quality of the game is supposed to keep me in tune.
Everyone knows I have not been a tyler Brayton Fan. I think Raiders should be starting someone else than him on Dline. with that said, I think I will go out and buy a tyler brayton jersey this week. J stevens is a Punk and he has this coming for a long time. Good Job Tyler brayton - hard to hurt a player who has no balls.
