Modern Warfare 2

this game is pure win. take everything that every other shooter has done well and mix all that with modern warfare 1. that is what modern warfare 2 is the influence of halo is most obvious. you now gain accolades for pretty much everything which are the same thing as medals in halo except they have a ton more. i really just can't say enough about the overall quality of this game and i haven't even touched the story yet.

I just played the game for six straight hours. It is arguably the best game ever made.

Special Ops is awesome - it's a shitload of challenges that you have to beat on each difficulty level in order to earn stars. It has a Co-Op feature.

Multiplayer is un-fucking-real.

...haven't started the campaign yet, but I know when you beat it, you unlock an alien mode, which will be very similar to World at War's ZOMBIE mode.

This is literally the only game that I would be awake at 5AM for.

 

It's amazing. Fucking amazing.

 

I now wish I would have paid for release day shipping. Oh well, I wouldn't have gotten my homework done.

 

Zombies? How do you get that in World at War?

 

Transferred my preorder from MW2 to Assassin's Creed 2, after picking the game up early on Sat.

 

My buddies stayed up playing til 3:30 am last night, and we are working men, 11:00 PM is a late night.

Ordered it last Thursday from Amazon, and it was waiting for me when I got home yesterday. played through the first level of the game, and ran through two rounds of deathmatch, where I was completely lost in the new environments. I forgot what it was like learning new battlefields.

so far, I love it. I wish I had Veterans Day off, my veteran ass would plop down on the couch tomorrow and not do anything but play it. unfortunately, I'll have to wait until the weekend to really get into it. by 10:30 last night, I was just too tired to keep playing.

 

I have some questions if anyone has purchased the PC version. I read the following review of the PC version at Newegg, and was wondering if there was any validity to it.

The items in bold red are the real troubling points...

 

yeah all that stuff about the pc version is true it has caused quite an uproar in the pc community.

I cant echo this anymore. I actually did stay up past 5 AM. 7 AM to be exact, and I woke up at 9AM and jumped right back on with my buddies who I crashed with last night. Amazing game.
