Got up to level 24 last night. I am not really too worried about my k/d ratio, just trying to unlock as many gun achievements as possible.
Gator: You will as you progress. I share my game with my 2 roommates and one plays capture the flag and domination and just worries about winning... not killing. So he'll be the runner all the time. A few rounds of 1 and 19 I was cursing at him.
the best is running around with light weight and marathon with akimbo G18....so fun ive gotta my ac-130 3 times yesterday with them with out even calling in my harrier
Why does that matter? Being the flag carrier and winning those matches gets you XP which helps you level up. It also gives you progress towards various different challenges that can award you 5000 or 10000 XP at a time, further helping you level up and unlock guns and get closer to 70. kill/death ratio gives you nothing after you complete the 2 or 3 elite challenges that give you like 2500XP.
I've been playing since Modern Warfare. I'm hooked bad. I think whatever mission type you play you should try and stay true to the mission set. Protecting a flag is great and all but if your team is flailing you need to run and pick up some flags/kills weather it be Domination, HQ and even Team Deathmatch. If your team is losing camping equates like rotting food in the fridge. Find another spot. In between spots cause havoc. Most times I'll have less kills but have more points in mission specific rooms. I actually dig getting the other snipers and hunting them down weather they pose a problem or not but I do my share of running and gunning when I have to. And if I do have a cozy spot it doesn't take long to get weeded out. You get three or four kills and they are coming for you. You have to move. It's what real snipes do. Then you point back at where you were at and shoot guys that hate you lol. Except like Karachi, Scrapyard where running is essential. Haven't played Rust. Every unit in real life has guys who are specialists. Knives, Snipes and Gunners don't bother me one bit. Learn the appropriate counter and it's all good. I don't know if it was posted earlier in the thread but is anyone getting sick of everyone using the infinate care oackage glitch? my stats 1.34 accuracy 1.52 Kill ratio I mostly go ghost with ninja and cold blooded w/silencer and HB sensor. ^ I didn't read anyone mention it. Guys complain over headset when they realize it. I've used it myself but only a few times. I only found out about it two days ago. I'm sure they will fix it soon.
this game is fun, but there has been at least one game killing glitch running rampant since it first came out. luckily none of this shit pops up every game, and i haven't played enough lately to really give a shit about this new care package glitch. infinity ward better get this worked out in the near future or they are gonna start to lose a lot of players.
greaser^^Yeah it can get annoying with choppers and AC130's flying over you the whole match. It's rediculous sometimes. Good thing there isn't nukes in those packages. Then there's the momma jokes and the whole bitch fight and queer name calling after in the waiting room. What is the deal with all the penis love anyway? If you wanna teach your kid how to properly smack talk using the words penis, ass, cock and rape and selective others, then buying this game and spending the $55 does the trick. O so your down then. Sucks. Yeah that's about $125. They just need to put bigger fans over the CD Rom to prevent it from overheating. I always leave it on dashboard after a long session and let the CPU fan cool the ROM down for a while so my rig doesn't do that. That what this guy said at gamestop when I was looking for a cooler for the xbox. He said I dont need it just leave it on the dashboard. So far so good.
One man army is the best perk in the game, by far. I absolutely destroy people with this on. I can pretty much reload all my equipment or change my guns and perks anytime, and many times as a I want. It's almost unfair. Damn Prestige, I still dont have it back yet...
I'm done with this game until they fix the care package glitch... one dude had 5 emergency air drops in 1 round.
