11 CeeDee Lamb, WR 48 Prince Tega Wanogho, OT 68 Trey Adams, OT 79 Bradlee Anae, EDGE 110 Michael Pittman Jr., WR 140 Jake Hanson, IOL 171 Lavert Hill, CB 202 Joey Magnifico, TE This is what I came up with.
Not a bad draft. I still like AJ Dillon over Edwards-Helaire. Helaire was ok in the playoff. I think if Dillan was on a better team he would be a 2nd rounder thought. Especially with what Henry is doing right now in the NFL.
This is the best one I've managed to come up with. It feels like the Jets are going to have to find a way to replace 130 receptions between Bell and Anderson. The entire offense is revamped in this mock. New OT, C, OG, as well as a new starting RB, and 2 new WRs.
I'm not against going after a runningback even if Bell is not moved. He will certainly be off the roster after next season anyways. Etienne is great in the shotgun sets. I like Dillon a lot but I think he'd struggle in a shotgun offense like ours. Zack Moss and Hubbard are both good shotgun options too. Trey Adams is an interesting player. He was finally healthy this year. He's thought of as a top 5 talent but suffered back to back season ending injuries with an ACL tear and bulging disk. I wonder what the NFL is going to think of him draft wise. Because he's a stud of a tackle. And left tackle material.
11 Chase Young , EDGE 48 Trey Adams , OT 68 Solomon Kindley , IOL 79 Cameron Dantzler , CB 110 Michael Pittman Jr. , WR 140 A.J. Dillon , RB 171 Denzel Mims , WR 202 Tarik Black, WR
Great minds think alike. Love the mock, I just don't think Biadasz goes in the 2nd. I can see the Jets going OT or RB in the second and snagging Nick Harris in the 3rd. I'd consider trading back up into the late 1st to take Biadasz though
Here's a draft I just completed on Fanspeak's On the Clock. I could have taken Michigan C Cesar Ruiz instead of Lavert Hill or Pittman instead of Tyler Johnson, or C Lloyd Cushenberry, RB Jonathan Taylor, or WR Chase Claypool instead of Trey Adams. I took both Thomas and Adams in an effort to get bookend OTs. I figured that if Adams can stay healthy, he would be the LT and Thomas the RT. If Adams, can't stay healthy, then Thomas would start at LT. 11: R1P11 OT ANDREW THOMAS, GEORGIA 48: R2P16 OT TREY ADAMS, WASHINGTON 68: R3P4 G SOLOMON KINDLEY, GEORGIA 79: R3P15 WR TYLER JOHNSON, MINNESOTA 117: R4P14 CB LAVERT HILL, MICHIGAN 158: R5P12 RB AJ DILLON, BOSTON COLLEGE 191: R6P12 WR ANTONIO GANDY-GOLDEN, LIBERTY
11 Andrew Thomas, OT 48 Tyler Biadasz, IOL 68 Zack Baun, EDGE 79 Cameron Dantzler, CB 110 Michael Pittman Jr., WR 140 Chase Claypool, WR 171 A.J. Dillon, RB 202 Calvin Throckmorton, OT No way we get that luck but it definitely upgrade a lot of what we need. If Claypool and Pittman both fall that way and work out we would be stacked. I think the take a little time to develop butane year with Sam and some more line next year, we could be legit. But again I don't think it falls like that.
Etienne's staying at Clemson. I like Trey Adams' potential, but with his injury history, he's risky. Unless you signed an OT or two in FA and/or resigned Beacham, I'm not sure the OL would be any better. I like the offensive firepower of the playmakers, but I think the OL needs more attention. I wouldn't have taken the edge player and would have taken an OL instead.
11: OT TRISTAN WIRFS, IOWA 48: R2P16 C LLOYD CUSHENBERRY, LSU 68: R3P4 G SOLOMON KINDLEY, GEORGIA 79: R3P15 WR TYLER JOHNSON, MINNESOTA 117: R4P14 CB HARRISON HAND, TEMPLE 158: R5P12 G TOMMY KRAEMER, NOTRE DAME 191: R6P12 RB AJ DILLON, BOSTON COLLEGE
https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/2020-nfl-draft-mock-draft-solak-4.0 SOLAK'S 2020 NFL MOCK DRAFT 4.0 BY: BENJAMIN SOLAKJANUARY 12TH, 2020 He has the Jets taking K'Lavon Chaisson instead of Wirfs, Jeudy or Lamb. As much as we've needed an edge rusher, if Douglas did this, I might freak out and go postal.

I as well would be furious. The offense has been ignored for to long. I don't think Chaisson would be worth passing on OL or WR. This is better. I still think if it was me I would trade back. Tons of teams will want to leapfrog the raiders.
https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/how-to-fix-the-new-york-jets-over-the-2020-nfl-offseason This mock has a full 7 rounds and shows our picks as follows: 1. AJ Epenesa, 4-3 DE (awful pick even if the Jets are considering transitioning to a 4-3 full time) 2. Prince Tega Wangho, OT 3a. Justin Jefferson, WR (LSU {love the pick, but most likely he will be taken in the 1st round} 3b. Cameron Dantzler (Miss. St.), CB 4. Zack Moss (Utah), RB 5. Matthew Peart, OT (UConn) {don't know anything about this kid, but Michael Pittman, WR (USC) is still available in this mock, and I would have taken him if there, but he will go much earlier. Saahdiq Charles, OT (LSU) is still available in this mock, and I would take him over Peart if there, but he will go much earlier as well.} 6. Levonta Taylor, CB (FSU) 7. Cesar Ruiz, C (Michigan) {I don't believe that we have a 7th round pick}
Epenesa pick is just moronic. In no way would that pick make any sense. Wanogho pick I don't mind, he looked really good in his last few games. Jefferson and Ruiz will be long gone but good pick. Dantzler pick I also like. Moss pick I'm not big on, I think there are other RBs out there that will be better. Peart and Taylor I don't know. For Peart I would ask @KurtTheJetsFan . On Taylor I would say ask Vilma or someone who watches FSU a lot.
@J-Raw24 LOL This was my first TDN draft. It is sick in terms of offensive playmakers, but very lame in terms of the OL. This draft would have posters screaming for my head because of only taking OL late. Of course, I was looking to draft OT and IOL but most flew off the board before or after our picks. The one OT that several here like (Austin Jackson) I passed up on. I just don't see him as that good a prospect at the moment. Perhaps that will change with more viewing and reading. Josh Jones (OT) and Cesar Ruiz (C) were ranked lower, but if I had seen that either of them were still available, I would have taken one of them instead of Jefferson. I also should have taken Cushenberry (C) instead of Dantzler, but thought we needed a CB too and hated to totally ignore the D, but then Alton Robinson was sitting there in the 4th round and I thought he would probably help more than Shane Lemieux (OG), Matthew Peart (OT), Tommy Kraemer (OG), or another WR in Antonio Gandy-Golden. In addition to adding so many playmakers, the other thing I like about this draft is that the first four are from the SEC. I don't know how to copy and paste my draft, as it doesn't seem to display it in one place, so I'll just have to type it until I figure out how or one of you tells me how to copy it. 1 - CeeDee Lamb, WR (Oklahoma) 2 - Justin Jefferson, WR (LSU) 3a - Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB (LSU) 3b - Cameron Dantzler, CB (Miss. St.) 4 - Alton Robinson, Edge (Syracuse) 5 - AJ Dillon, RB (Boston College) 6 - Colton McKivitz, OT (WVU) 7 - Calvin Throckmorton, OT (Oregon)
