One bright spot for the Jets is that they developed some backup LBs who filled in imo admirably. Assuming that all injured LBs are healthy, even if Williamson returns are not are pretty set at LBs unless the guy is a more of a pass rusher. I wouldn’t mind Jets picking a kicker at 6 .
I think Williamson maybe our only player worth any Value in a trade besides the ones we don't really want gone. Its not much value maybe a 5th. But more than the rest. I hope you mean in the 6th round not at 6 lol. But I agree if so. Kicker is a major issue.
Of course in 6th round. Also we can find a gem in UDFA like the Ravens did in Justin Tucker. Would be nice we find a durable and dependable Kicker to put up points consistently and win at the end. We have the QB now.
I think Williamson has more value than a 6th round pick. I think he should bring at least a 5th, if not a 4th. Maybe even a lower 3rd.
Yes, his injury complicates things a little. He would have to prove that he's healthy and fully recovered, but the team that gets him would get a starting ILB who has averaged around 100 tackles, 3 sacks, a forced fumble, and 3 defenses passes and one interception who is in his prime. Surely there's a contender who needs an ILB/MLB.
2020 NFL Mock Draft: Patriots find next Julian Edelman, Dolphins don't wait for Tua but get franchise QB https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft...phins-dont-wait-for-tua-but-get-franchise-qb/ Ryan Wilson Dec 31, 2019 at 10:08 am ET • 1 min read Follow Ryan at @ryanwilsonCBS The 2019 NFL regular season is in the books and the 20 teams who didn't qualify for the playoffs are officially looking ahead to 2020. As has been the case for weeks now, the Bengals are in the Joe Burrow business, and the LSU quarterback will be tasked with saving a franchise that managed just two wins in 2019. Likewise, the Redskins, who will have new faces in the front office and on the sidelines, have the No. 2 pick and barring the unforeseen, Chase Young could be the centerpiece of a D.C. rebuild. After that, things get interesting. There's still no Tua Tagovailoa in this week's mock draft, but only because we don't know the Alabama quarterback's status following hip surgery last month. We'll know something by Jan. 20, which is when players have to declare for the NFL Draft. As it stands, only one other quarterback finds his way into Round 1, though that will almost certainly change in the coming weeks and months. Keep reading to see how the rest of the first round unfolds as the 28 teams with first-round picks go about restocking their roster for the 2020 season. ******* This is an interesting mock draft. It has the Giants taking Jedrick Wills, Jr. with pick #4 ahead of Thomas or Wirfs. Wills didn't look that good in 'Bama's bowl game. The top 11 picks go as follows: 1 - Bengals - Joe Burrow (QB) 2 - Redskins - Chase Young (DE) 3 - Lions - Jeffery Okudah (CB) 4 - Giants - Jedrick Wills, Jr. (RT) 5 - Dolphins - Andrew Thomas (OT) 6 - Chargers - Derrick Brown (DT) [If it works out this way, all Jets fans will be pleased as it will remove any temptation for the Jets to take him] 7 - Panthers - CeeDee Lamb (WR) 8 - Cardinals - A.J. Epenesa (Edge) 9 - Jaguars - Isaiah Simmons (LB/S) 10 - Browns - Tristan Wirfs (OT) 11 - Jets - Jerry Jeudy (WR) If the draft falls this way, Jeudy would be the best pick. It's too high for Tee Higgins (whom the author has going #15 to the Broncos) and too high for any of the other OL. With Thomas, Wirfs, and Lamb all gone, Jeudy would be a nice consolation prize and should have Sam doing cartwheels. For those hoping the Dolphins take Justin Herbert, you'll love this draft as it has them taking him at #18. As for OL, it has Austin Jackson (OT) going to the Jaguars at pick #19, Josh Jones going to the Packers at #28. It has Justin Jefferson going to the Pats at pick #27. Most of the rest of the picks are CBs, WRs and other defensive players.

I'd hate seeing the Ravens get Okwara. If they have a weakness, it's their lack of pass rush. Adding Okwara should make them a lot tougher.
Again we’ll see how they do in the combines. Wirfs is not rated as high as some here think. if the Jets drop down to 15-17, would getting a 2nd pick be out of reach?
On this one I think we could get good value in a trade back. Also no Trey Adams... hrmm. Or Wills. Where did Higgins fall?
Wirfs is a top on every mock I have seen. I think you underestimate him severly. Watch last weeks game. He is good.. maybe not great. But he is always the 2nd or 3rd OL taken.

If Wills projected to LT, then I perhaps would, but AFAIK he is projected to RT or even OG. I wouldn't like that draft for the Dolphins, either. It's too good.
I haven't seen Trey Adams listed as a 1st round pick on any mock. I think he falls into the 2nd due to his injury history. Like a couple of the other mocks, he has Higgins going to the Broncos at #15.
Getting one of Wirfs, Lamb or Jeudy in round 1 (assuming Thomas is gone by our pick) and Trey Adams in round 2 would be huge! I would have some fears about Adams' ability to stay healthy, however. Even being one of the top LT prospects in the draft, taking him is risky, especially that high (2nd round). It might be better to take Creed Humphrey or maybe even Mekhi Beckton there. Of course, it will depend on whom Douglas is able to sign in FA. If they sign Conklin or Ifedi, then Beckton wouldn't be necessary. If they re-sign Beacham, then perhaps Adams would have a year to get stronger/healthier and learn the offense.
I think the championship game will be important for Higgins. The last game wasn't very good, even considering he got huet and missed some. Also combine and pro day can bump him up...
I still think Becton falls to round 3. He could end up a great RT, but I don't like him at LT. Humphrey I would take in a heartbeat but I'm not sute he is there. I also like Walker Little in that area. But he also has injury issues. I also think Wirfs would be gone. I would take Wills day 2 if he fell as well. We will see going to be very interesting.
