I'm curious what you guys would think if I changed the top two picks from Harris and Shaheen to Howard or Njoku at #12 and Jordan Willis at #33. Also, what about Howard or Njoku at #12 and Mahomes at #33. I love all three of those players, but wouldn't be happy not getting an Edge Rusher.
I understand your liking Barnett better, but you like him for what he did in college, and I don't think he will be able to replicate that success in the NFL due to his lack of speed, agility, lateral movement, and athleticism. Conversely, Harris got a later start, but is coming on, and with his athleticism, speed, lateral movement, and first step quickness, I think he will get much more pressure and more sacks in the NFL than Barnett.
Had you ever heard of Antonio Gates in 2003? He was an undrafted FA. He played basketball in college. He's been pretty good.
