Both are really good and Wilkerson is the safer bet to make an investment in, but Sheldon is probably the better player. He can play all over the front seven for the Jets. I think if somebody on the Jets busted out and had a 20 sack type of season, it would probably be him over anyone else.
Sheldon has more potential, but I think Mo is the better player right now. Sheldon with his mouth better have that 20 sack season this season.
Sheldon is more athletic and can play on multiple defensive fronts. He's more versatile than Mo, whose a great player. Mo is better right now, but going forward I'd take Sheldon.
I mean, lets see how Shelden does the rest of the way through his contract. He is versatile so can command good trade return too. Because at some point we need to pay some guys to help that depleting OLine
Potential, a good way to get a coach fired. Talk to me when Sheldon has that big breakout season. I am talking higher pass rush productivity. With his potential, there is no reason he shouldn't be in the same class as an Aaron Donald. Sheldon can set the edge as a linebacker, good versatility, but don't discount Mo's versatility either. He can play in any front also on the line.
I agree. We'll learn a lot about Sheldon this year. He has not had that season yet. I wanna see it before I crown him as something more than what he's done so far. If he and Cat could do it at the same time look out league
I don't understand you people. It's obvious that Snacks was the only reason either off these guys looks any good. We should've given Snacks the Wilfork money.
Solid season sure, but not a big season, he hasn't put it all together. Absolutely not. It doesn't have to be the sack # but the productivity from game to game. We've seen stretches of him being great in games, but not from game to game.
