I remember the game against Cleveland on the first MNF. I was bowling with my buddies and of course I was as rabid a Jet fan then as I am now. Joe Willie was the QB and we got are ass kicked in that game. As sure as god made green apples I knew I was gonna get my balls broke when the game was over and it sure did happen, my pals did not dissapoint me. However I stayed late, drank to much to make up for losing the game. As I am probably the oldest poster on GG I have probably seen more Jet games "on TV" than anybody else. But I am just as fired up about the Jets than ever. We are gonna kick more ass before this season is over. Remember, Penney will lead us to the promised land. Allentown Ernie.

The score indeed was 31-21 Cleveland. The Brown-noses had a KOR and INT for TDs.

I remember that game well. September 21, 1970. I was 10 - almost 11. My parents were away and my grandparents were watching me and my siblings. They wouldn't let me stay up to watch the game, but I had a TV in my room and I watched in anyway.

The game was no blowout. In fact, I thought that the Jets had a chance to win late, but a Namath interception ended the threat and the game.

    31-21 it was.

Champ! Dude, get another lover or another Football team to dream about.
You're not a JETS fan so find something else to pine about.
Plenty of porn sites out there man.

It was a 12" Zenith Black and white and I brought it in there from my parents room before they went on their trip in case I couldn't watch the game. Don't be too impressed.

Lets settle this once and for all, Allentown Ernie-born 9-2-37. Been a fan since the Jets were the N.Y. Titans and Babe Parelli was the QB. Have a great day. Allentown Ernie.

Babe Parelli never quarterbacked the Titans. Babe QB'ed the Raiders in 60 and the Boston Pats through 67. He came to the Jets in 68 as Namaths back up. He started in the NFL with the Packers. You're probably the only guy on the board who remebers the 52 Packers.
