This, I follow lots of hockey people, a few people who tend to align with my political beliefs and a ton of expats in Japan ands yet I am bombarded by people I have zero interest in seeing what they think or what half truths they want to push. They're like roaches, I block 3 and 7 show up.
What's more obvious: the calculated provocation or the pedestrian source of your impotent baiting? ('bwaa @Brook! he's picking on me-ban him! ) Or more to the point, was that musical offering from a TV show for tin-eared cheeseballs or musical festival-related? https://www.reddit.com/r/RailbirdFestival/comments/141ug6i/railbird_sucks_and_heres_why/
Paranoia does not represent provocation on anyone's part, certainly not mine. The conversation here was about the origin of banging sounds and William Hung's horrible cover of a Ricky Martin song was right on theme once songs were linked to the conversation. It's not all about Joe. The reference to a totally unrelated "Railbird Sucks" posting about an apparent concert is just another not so shining example of juvenile trouble-making produced here to the detriment of the entire forum.
My post (that you quoted) had nothing to do with 'banging sounds' but instead repeatedly repeatedly referenced the "no politics" rule that you and others repeatedly ignored in the midst of your Elon Musk/DJT whining. . Further, Hung's punchline "a woman's got one thing on her mind" lined up with my mono thematic 'no politics' post. . American Idol or a music festival--where'd you source Wm. Hung's musical offering from? . TV musical show or a music festival? . So there was no need for the juvenile swipe; my musical source inquiry was totally relevant,. . Railbird. .
Elon Musk is not a political figure - he's fair game. I don't reference the other guy YOU mentioned. The punch line of the song linked is quite clearly the same as the title. Could any adult even care what the lyrics have to offer? It's Ralebird - but you knew that. Jo.
Pre-Twitter Elon ’Tesla’ Musk was not a political figure but instead was the ‘green’ toast of the town to a specific political demographic, the same politically hyper-partisan demographic who now trip over themselves bashing the s.o.b. at every opportunity.. But sure, hE’s nOt a pOlITiCaL fIgURE Jo mama
So back on topic, I was right on target that Stockton Rush thought he was an invincible risk-taking trailblazer and it turns out he was a stupid mortal asshole. What a surprise. It doesn't help his case that he looks like a d-bag Kennedy. Edit: Typo.
Some people see everything through a filter of blue or red, and if there's nothing political there, they filter it anyway; they can't help themselves. In doing so they often end up giving power to those who least deserve it and then complain mightily about it. Even billionaires cannot create power for themselves, they can only thrive on that gifted to them.
Musk is not a political figure, just another d-bag billionaire. Sounds like 'Threads' is kicking him in the balls by the way lol
Wrong and wrong. * Biden hosts a '"cllean energy summit" and invites Ford, GM, etc. * Tesla is BY FAR the leading manufacturer of E-V's in both the U.S. and the world. * Biden sees fit NOT to invite the leader in 'clean energy' transportation. Makes perfect sense: don't invite the straight A student to a remedial class... "Remedial?" Fast forward to the present and consider: GM and Ford (with hat-in-hand) have struck deals with Tesla to allow their customers to use the EV company's superchargers for their electric vehicles. Translation: build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door. So the summit non-invitee "d-bag billionaire" who was ahead of the field from day one now has GM & 'Ford eating out of his 'supercharged hand' .....and who doesn't even have to spend on advertising? Musk is not a political figure just another d-bag billionaire stop digging https://cleantechnica.com/2021/08/0...at-excludes-tesla-why-us-politics-is-so-hard/
Musk is Gyro Gearloose trying to pass as a businessman and a rock star. Simply by having politicians play up, or down, to him is far from making him a political figure. He's never asked for my vote for himself or anyone else or promised me anything for it.
Interesting concept at play here - for those who do not believe Musk is a political figure, he is fair game. Those campaigning for Musk being another political hack are forbidden from doing so.
^ you're to interesting concepts what browning nagle was to quarterbacks (sans atlanta)...ref. flies over head) nice dodge both of you. ok then, why would a leader in the clean energy field be disparaged? guy's political worldview doesn't jibe with yours plain and simple and why you both (alongside your hyper-partisan brethren) previously and repeatedly went full circle jerk iwith musk, trump, etc. in this, a thread about a titanic-affiliated submersible.....
I don’t think anyone disparaged Musk. They just didn’t invite him to an event (2 years ago by the way). IMO that’s a politically motivated stretch to say it’s disparaging the man as for why he wasn’t invited? They said why. Musk doesn’t hire union workers Nagle looked great in that Atlanta game thought we had somethin
Since you used some of my words, I will presume I am one of the people you are addressing. Find someone else to answer your political questions - I do not initiate political talk on TGG; sell your unsupported claims about my partisanship and attacks on Trump to someone who doesn't care that they are bogus. Musk is disparaged because he is a crackpot; a wealthy genius perhaps but a crackpot nonetheless. One need not look beyond his Twitter episode to understand that, but my retirement funds appreciate his foibles so related. I have no need to discuss his "political worldview" because it is no more important to me than yours or that of Zachary Shahan (who?) and, again, this is not the place for politics. Adore whomever you choose.
