    We only start needing him Week 2 when we start facing that big stretch. I'm fine with him not being in there Week 1 against Matt Schaub

    I have always felt like Wilson was out of position at nickel. I would rather he take the outside and move Patterson inside.

    Good thing we have all that useless cap space available because we didn't address one of our most glaring needs in free agency!

    I do think he's better suited for the nickel. But considering what's going on now. The best case scenario would be to have Patterson in the nickel.

    Well this is all part of the job for Idzik. He's going to get scrutinized for questionable draft picks and the moves he did not make in FA to address the CB situation. Jets better be looking everywhere to find some other options.

    He has flaws in his game which is evident. But what I'm saying is that he's a solid NFL corner and if he had to play outside I wouldn't have a problem with it. Because when he had to play outside he did a decent job.

    Even if Idzik didn't want to spend big money on Revis, DRC, Verner or Davis, he needed to go get this team a starting CB. Signing Patterson would have been fine if he signed an actual starting CB to go along with Patterson.

    Its a problem that the Jets were relying on a 3rd round pick to beat out Patterson for a starting spot. That was the problem to begin with. Idzik didn't do his job in the offseason, and our CB struggles this season will be on him. He had the money to get whoever he wanted, and he didn't adequately fill the hole left by Cromartie.

    GREAT NEWS!!!

    @ianrapaport
    #Jets believe CB Dee Milliner suffered a high-ankle sprain, per source. Out a few weeks. He thought it was broken, but tests show a sprain

    Well, less bad. Hardly great. He's going to miss the rest of camp and maybe the first week or two and it could nag him all season.

    Of course it's great news when there was fear of a broken ankle. Take it in context man

    Good news for sure, considering how bad it could have been.

    So tell me l how the Jets would be better off today if , say DRC were signed and suffered an ACL tear today and , because the Jets singed DRC, McDougle was not drafted? Because we all know that signing a vet would mean that the 3 rd is used elsewhere and the Jets are still down two CBs right now. All this "Idzik blew it" stuff is such BS. And to call McDougle injury prone is disingenuous. He started every game for his first three years n college. He had a shoulder injury his senior season. How does that make an ACL injury likely?
