This would be fucking amazing. Of course something like this for the Jets lust seems implausible because some where in the recesses of my mind I think some bullshit would happen to prevent it.

    First... CONGRATULATIONS MIKE WHITE!
Compared to what we've seen for the past 20 years, that was an awesome performance, especially in the second half, when the pressure was on.
He stood tall, looked poised and confident, and never got flustered. He looked like an NFL Quarterback.
Will it last? Who knows, but I agree 100% with other posters - run him out there until the magic wears off and hope it never does.

I just want to say, he looked good, but we should be talking about Michael Fucking Carter today. He and the run game. Let's give White another game before the hype starts.

It’s not hype but praise. He doesn’t deserve hype but he does deserve praise for that performance.

He does look slow and plodding like Flacco did. It might also be that #5 in black unis.

There's no doubt that the entire team, offense and defense responded to White's performance.
Heck, the refs even gave us a couple of calls that we NEVER get.

Guy did the business he stays in the team until he doesn't.

I always feel sorry for some of these back ups, especiy RBs they come in get over 100 yards maybe a TD or two and then they are fucked off as soon as #1 is ready.

White might be blessed that we haven't got a nailed on #1 via performance on the turf yet.

Yup, take it for what it is, but with the kind of backups that have been run out for the last decade when the starter went down, White's performance is all the more impressive. Enjoy the ride and see where it goes...

It's just one game. I really want to believe that he is the hidden gem but look at the JETS history. Nothing good ever happens to US

Be happy dude, we won a game and had a QB go over 400 yards passing, there is no wrong QB today, just a winning one.

Wilson haters lol Jesus fucking Christ get a grip man ffs

Do you change your mind this easily in life outside of football?

Michael Carter is a stud, he runs hard and is tough to bring down, he needs a little work on his pass catching ability, but I love the pick as a 4th rounder so far.

Good moderating tbh if you were in the game thread you'd understand.

The good thing is he’ll get a chance for us to find out one way or another. He just played the best QB’d game from a Jets QB in many many years.

Showed some toughness and leadership too.

shaking off that painful looking cheap shot, and came back unrattled.
The 2Pt conversion catch and QB sneak to end game too, put the game in his own hands literally.

who knows what he can or will be going forward, but couldn’t have asked for much more today.

A little post-game interview with MW, seems like a solid guy, gave all the credit to the teammates around him, seems like the type of dude you want to play with and is quick with a joke. Happy for the young man, whether he keeps it up or comes back down to Earth on Thursday, it's fun to see a guy like MW have the type of day he did and get to enjoy it.
