Mike White looked real fucking good today. This is easily the best QB play we've seen all year. Maybe, in years.

It's premature and unlikely, but, wouldn't It be fucking amazing to find a hidden gem at QB that finally gets us on track after so fucking long?

    The law of averages, right?

    We certainly deserve that blessing.

    It's early. I'm desperate.

    Still. Is It possible?

    Thoughts?

Trot him out next week and lets see what we got.
Nothing to lose - he looked fantastic.

Is it possible the football gods have granted us a Tom Brady situation here?!

Doubt it but I'm loving every second of this right now.

He kicked ass today and he did it against a playoff team with a crazy good defense.

We definitely deserve the blessing, going to be a matter of whether we get it or not. I like what I saw from White today, even the INT's, one was clearly a miscommunication between White and Carter, the other was some god awful terrible decision, and it could have been caught, props to White for stepping up in his first career start on a team that just got demolished last week in the toughest city to play in!

If he's 50% of Tom Brady he is a better QB than anybody the Jets have had since pre-injuries Chad.

I'd definitely stay with the black Uni's though. Makes the Jets look intimidating which is something they can't do any other way.

I couldn't care less what the name on the back of the jersey is... As long as we have a solid QB, it could be Ray Finkle for all I care

We should definitely let Wilson take his sweet time and get to 100%….But this is the Jets so I expect Flacco under center next game lol

I thought he looked good last week. Then he had the reps with the first team. Many thought here we'd be lucky if we score 10. He marched down the field and gave the Jets life against a very very good defense who shut down Lamar last week. And to many here who thought that they were a genius to fire Saleh and LaFluer.

I remember back in 2018 wanting to take him if we ended up with Saquon Barkley with our first rounder. I remember him popping off at the Senior Bowl, showing what he showed today: able to go through progressions, decent arm, even looking off defenders back then. Didn't follow the Jets at all last year, and was surprised we had traded away Sam Darnold, but was also happy that we had Mike White on the team after being disappointed that the Cowboys had drafted him.

He could still turn out to be bad, but that's the most competent Jets QB performance I've seen in a while.

He was able to make the boring plays that competent QB's should. That was refreshing to see.

I have to listen to what the experts say since I don't know enough to say. Maybe they simplified the scheme for him.

If White keeps this up Saleh'll have a full head of hair by Christmas.

I'd play White the entire remainder of the season to see what he really has. His decision making and accuracy were nearly perfect today. This is the ideal opportunity, since it is highly unlikely the Jets will make the playoffs with Zach or Flacc in there. If White does not work out, it will give Zach a season to watch and learn, which he desperately needs.

1000% it was a result of a simplified scheme

Drew Brees made a pretty good career out of doing that

White checked all the boxes we needed to see today to keep starting for now.

    1. 1st quarter score.

    2. Good accuracy on short and midrange passes.

    3. Recovered well from a couple of contested interceptions. Left his failures on the field and didn't let them drive him.

    4. Led the offense to scores in the 2nd half and late to seal the game.

Really there's nothing else he needed to show us today. He ran the checklist.
