    Shanahan is a dirtbag. Ordering his players to fake injuries to slow down our no-huddle.

    Get off your high horse dude. Those of us who don't like Shanahan are wary of him because he's only won one playoff game since Elway retired. He's made the playoffs 4 times in 10 years with 1 victory.

    He was the GM. He put together the terrible roster that he had to coach. He's been bad for 3 seasons now. He was at his best with Elway, then had 3 decent seasons after that, with 1 random great one while Jake The Snake was his QB. Dick Jauron once went 13-3 too. I'm looking for consistent success. 1 playoff win in 10 years is not that.

    I don't know why you fire a coach for a late season collapse and hire one who was just fired for the same thing. Shanahan has won big since Elway retired.

    But he is proven winner. His player decisions suck, but if can turn no names into 1,000 rushers.. He hasn't had a solid Defense in years..

    he won 13 games 3 years ago, and 11 games 2 years after Elway retired. is your only knock on him that he hasn't won another Super Bowl, because he's clearly won his share of games without Elway and can clearly coach. as has been said, his problem is assembling the team himself that he does coach.

    I think a Shannahan thread need to get sticked right along with a Cowher thread.

    Not saying he doesn't I am saying he can't judge defensive talent.. Some one else would have to do it...

    I wouldn't say the collapses are the same
    Last week they had to start a running back that was selling cellphones a few weeks ago.

    Shannahan's problem was being the GM. He wouldn't get that here. He would be a huge upgrade over Mangini, but he would need a strong DC.

    If he's not in the mix, Woody's a freakin IDIOT!

    My guess is he'll want time off though. He was in Denver for a LONG time.

    Shanahan could succeed Wade Phillips in Dallas just like he did in Denver. I expect Phillips to resign or get fired this week.

    I think our best move would be Spag and Rat, let the minor rebuilding begin..

    We have ton's of talent.. Enough of the old, let's bring in the new..

    Doing this would show that Woody has somewhat of a brain, instead of just alot of money his family made for him..

    Woody= DickHead PSL

    Happy New Year's to all.

    I love his offensive schemes with the zone blocking and constant 1000 yard rushers but he has NEVER had a good D...Defense is an after thought with Shanny>>We need a Coach is Defensive minded..IMO
