Where is Shepherd?? (Didn't feel like making a new post). Other than Herndon (who is making small steps) who is contributing this year?

 

He's in the rotation but hasn't done much yet. You could say Cannon and Nickerson are contributing.

I mistook 93 Tarell Basham for Shepard last week. Basham looked very active and got close a couple of times. They're throwing the kitchen sink at 'em from the edge and nobody's getting there. Someone needs to step up there. Maybe we stepped in shit with Bashem?

 

This is looking like Macc's best draft by far. He needs to nail it next year too.

 

His future will depend on it. Shepard was a signature pick for them and it'll hurt them if he doesn't become a solid, productive starter. They have to get a couple of studs along the line of scrimmage, one on each side. Not sure they will endure if they don't get that... minimum.

 

It has to be stud LT in the draft, stud edge rusher in free agency. There's no great FA LT's next year for good reason. Edge is a different story, although some guys will get tagged or extended between now and next March.

 

Yup, shaping up that way. Mac's gonna have to roll the dice on an OLB in FA like he did with the trade up last year. Prolly will too.

Signing up for a QB because he has a huge arm isn't a good idea, Jamarcus Russell did the same thing from his knees. Though Mahomes is great in so many other things.
