Thanks. I only saw a couple of videos that I checked out after watching your video on Williams, but I was very impressed with his arm and accuracy. I'm just going of my gut feeling that we won't be drafting a QB this year at the top of the draft, and thought maybe he could be "poached" later, but I forgot that he's not eligible.
Yes, first time in a long time that I am excited about our offensive coordinator. And as mentioned in the other thread, has very very strong ties with Saleh. Absolutely love this hire and is almost as important as the Saleh hire
Adding Javonte Williams would be a sweet deal for the new offense. Adams and Ty seemingly would be good one cut type backs with speed to boot. Seems like more speed in the backfield will be implemented. If the Jets trade down, I'd want Jamaar Chase. LSU's offensive attack was a pro system (ala Saints) and I feel Chase would seemlessly fit in alongside Mims/Crowder.
Maybe he'll come up with his own offense and soon people will be talking about the Jet's offense and how efficient and tough to stop.
Nope when your running back is older than your head coach he will not be coming back. Time to move on.
I don't think this is generally the norm, but I see a lot of interesting positions on this staff. https://www.49ers.com/team/coaches-roster/ Passing game specialists, running game specialists, etc. I like it. The more coaches looking at key aspects of the game the better. He reportedly wanted Demeco Ryan's as his DC but the 49ers protected him by promoting him. Daniel Bullocks might be the guy.
I can't believe our biggest concern right now is the worry we will loose the OC if he excels here over the next two years. Good Lord, what a great problem to have. Its the coaches responsibility to have some one behind him that can grow into the job. BTW. Over the last 20 years the problem for the Jets has been the opposite, we cant get rid of bad coaches fast enough. How refreshing this change is. . Lets enjoy the freaking ride for once.
