What MLF wasn’t good at involved leadership and an inability to change his scheme to fit his players. He probably will learn a ton of that this year, while not calling the plays or having to “teach” a baby QB.
In reality, sorry, McVay hired MLF to the same title, not the same position. He's not moving to a position with the same responsibilities... He will not be designing the scheme, he will not be calling plays, nor responsible for developing a young QB... he's basically an OC in name only. He'll be an OC-in-training. .
