Also a good idea. Although, I am not entirely in love with the notion that Yukon Cornelius is the guy under center...
This is more of a testament to Lovie Smith's incompetence than to Glennon's ability. Glennon outplayed McClown yet was still stuck on the bench so clearly Tampa Bay would not be opposed to dealing him at the right price. In his first two years in the league he has shown to be a far superior quarterback than Geno. Looking at his rookie year most of his INTs came in his first few games and he really showed a lot of progress. Glennon is a guy who could definitely be an average starting QB in this league. On the topic of QBs...if Mariota is there at 6 we should trade that pick to Philly for Foles in a heartbeat.
Unfair. He always was better than McCown and got screwed over this season. We did the same thing with Sanchez and Tebow.
Tebow sucked and bringing him here was one of the worst things we ever did as a franchise. It is not the same at iall.
So you're saying that after trading for Tebow, Sanchez did not have his worst season as a Jet? And you're also saying that the immediate anointing of McCown, didn't have an affect on Glennon? Was talking psyche, not skill.[
Low risk, high reward. Bucs are in line to get a potential elite QB. I believe Glennon can be a highly serviceable QB, which paired with a top D will work Just fine. Oh, and he'd be an instant upgrade
