Dog did it to Yankee fans but it was all in fun and good radio, he screamed, but not at the fans, just to get Yankeee fans all riled up. Mike is mean, arrogant and the whole we didn't earn it argument has gotten boring. And he brings up that we COULD be a super bowl team next year to disparage what we have done to date. The NY post had a top 20 reasons why it was a good weekend for the Jets. Here's # 3

Exactly. I'm all for good natured ribbing, or even genuine disagreement. Mike is using ridiculous, hypocritcial logic to antagonize people. He's just a self-centered moron.

 

Yeah thing is though there are more Giant fans out there, so it doesn't matter how intelligent he is. All the Giant fans are looking to vent and talk shit, so therefor they will flock to Mike's show.

But I admit I was sucked into his shit for the past month, or so when I knew the Giants were fucked. I think Mike is an asshole, but I gotta admit I listen to him for atleast 30mins to an hour a day..then I tune into 1050 espn.

 

as others have pointed out, the antagonism worked much better when Dog was in the house too........that was his deal and Mike was the straight man......whne Mike tries the antagonism, it just across as patronizing, mean spirited and not all that funny

 

Just had a Giants fan tell me how Fatcessa is "extremely knowledgeable" on football. He told me Jets fans are delusional, and the calls aren't screened. He just HAPPENS to get the biggest moron Jet fans on the line.

Caller just now: Jets were down 15-10 so if the jets were anything worse than good it wouldn't have been that close.

Francesa: noo, if you knew anything about football you would know that the colts have trailed 8 times this yr in the 4th qtr and a lot of times it was to bad teams. They were losing to the 49ers in the 4th qtr at home and almost lost to the texans if chris brown didn't miss the kick.


Now my thoughts: How does Francesa say the jets had no chance to win the game when he admitted that the colts struggle vs even bad teams. That they have had to overcome 4th qtr deficits 8 times this yr, but they were going to blow out the jets. How does this make any sense.

A caller says how Revis shut down Fitz last year and took a pick 6 to the house. Francesa says, oh please, that was a different game, the cardinals have tons of off games and that was the case, they didn't try.

He even said Revis doesn't get many picks and score? How many does he have Sal? Fawww? 4 picks? Fawww is it?

Now he's talking how Jackson and Rivuhzzz is gonna test Revis cuz they're cocky. Hello Tank! Remember Brady and Moss trying to beat Revis deep in garbage time? didn't happen. everyone tries and they fail.

the thing that pisses me off if we have fans of all other teams calling up saying "oh the jets aren't good, these fans think they are gonna beat 28-10, they're crazy"

I still don't remember hearing 1 Jet fan call up saying they are going to beat the Chargers let alone beat them 28-10. This whole thing stems from Jet fans thinking the Jets had a small chance to beat the Colts. Francesa has turned it into Jet fans being cocky thinking they can beat anyone.

I just heard a Raven fan down the Jets saying they're not good, they think they're a good team and they think they can beat SD 28-10, these fans are crazy.

What fan on the show has said anything about beating up the chargers or colts?

 

haha, i heard him say this and I almost fell out of my chair. He said last week before the wildcard game that the Bengals had a "big-time" defense that would not let the Jets run on them when they are "playing for real". He kept saying how he "watched the Bengals a lot this season" and how they can't be run on. A caller called up and said the Jets would run for 150 on the Bengals and he mocked the guy and then cut him off. How did that work out, fatass?

 

I remember that. Someone said they would rush for their 170 average and he basically told them they were delusional and cut the caller off.

Last week he was all about hyping up the Bengals. Now that the Bengals were beat he says "they ain't that good, you could tell the last 5 weeks they wuh strugglin to beat bad teams"

All the anger is building up inside him. When the Jets finally lose he's going to unload! Thats If they lose, lol

 

Did you guys hear him talk about the Broncos game? He says after the blocked punt he told his wife "The Jets are going to the Super Bowl".

The more he trashes the Jets the more likely they are to win, I guess!

 

And his big fat ass was given a prime seat to that game while real Jet fans watched on TV from 2,000 miles away. Whatever.

All you need to know about Francesa is he only tells you how great a team is when they've already won and it's plainly obvious. If you listen to him, he's always droning on about how great the Lakers are, or the Colts, or Duke, or the Spurs, or Tig-ah Woods. He never goes out on a limb, then again if I was as fat as him I probably wouldn't either.

He actually said yesterday that Vincent Jackson's poor route running may cause Revis some problems. In his world because Revis studies film of his receivers so much Jackson will do things unintentionally Revis hasnt seen before. LMAO Just pure gold.

he's basically saying it's good to be a bad route runner because the CB will be confused if they watch film.

Francesa makes me laugh. He was hyping up TO against Revis in Toronto. He says the new coach has made it a point to get TO the ball more and TO is now involved and when TO is involved we all know he's as tough as anyone to cover. He said "Now lets see if Revis can cover TO, this will be his toughest assignment yet"

He even said Vincent Jackson is a lot bigger then Andre Johnson, so it will be a challenge. oh my god...I think it will be tough but Andre Johnson >>> V. Jackson
