This idea that the Jet fans were calling up saying they would have beat the Colts is completely wrong. Jet fans have called up saying there was a 10% chance the Jets would have won that game and Francesa called them delusional and disrespectful to the Colts. The Jet fans problem was with saying there was a ZERO % chance when it was 15-10 in the 3rd Q. In the end Francesa is still going to get the last laugh. He knows the Jets have almost no chance to beat the Colts. I know it as a Jet fan even though I want to believe differently.
Now Francesa is saying the Bengals did a solid job on defense, they just allowed 3 big plays. Yeah, I listened for a few mins today. Essentially, he said Graham ripped the Bengals' heart out with those misses. 'Conveniently,' he didn't call much attention to Feely's FG that got erased, along with Braylon's TD drop; he mentioned them, but failed to say how that would've impacted the game. For the few mins I listened today, this was the exact feeling I got. He repeatedly said, "Pray for the Pats to win so the Jets get another shot at the Colts with a chance to silence the critics and me." I have nothing to support this other than gut feeling... but I think he was hoping the Pats would win bc he knows the Jets match-up well vs SD, and he didn't wanna see us advance further.
