I think everyone but him has said the jets are a great defense no one is calling them the 85 bears but right now there isn't a better defense in the NFL. thats all we're saying.

It doesn't matter. When it comes down to it, it's not 1985, 2000, or whatever other year there was a "historic" defense. It's 2010, and right now, we are THE GREATEST defense in the league.
His point may be that the Jets got a lot of breaks with missed FGs in the playoffs. But he has also said that GOOD teams capitalize on the breaks they get.
