Revis was The Gladiator. The malevolent ginger emperor had rigged the game to please the plebs; shiny superstar receivers were maiming helpless defenders for the amusement of the audience. Then from the little town of Aliquippa, a cornerback arrived to the big city. First he was seen as just another lamb led to the slaughter, but unexpectedly he stood up against the great Randy Moss and raised some peoples' eyebrows. The 2009 season came and the young corner defeated star receiver after star receiver in the game that was rigged against him. First only those who truly knew the game saw his greatness and he didn't got the DPOY, but slowly he turned the masses and became the fighter that the crowd cheered for.
So do we reminisce now? Remember the time Revis completely bitched out OchoCinco back to back weeks and basically ended his career..
I remember the 100yd interception at home against Miami. I was the loudest fan in my section celebrating, still, a solid 7-8mins after the play. That play was awesome...and than for me the greatest night as a Revis fan was home against Dallas. Everything about that game was magical. It was 9/11 anniversary game. The team played with passion. Revis capped it off with easy, timely interception and folk drove home the game winner. That game was really awesome. Last year, the Buffalo game was cool, bc it was the fans goodbye to Revis. Who knew? I sure didn't. They introduced the starting defense; Revis was announced last, and got welcomed with a New York Jets friendly Roarrrr! Shortly, after Nacho threw a pic and Revis responded with a pic of his own. That was it, Bart ran over his head, and we never saw Revis play at home again. Revis, last gift to the NYJ was #13 overall in the 2013 draft and #4 conditional, possible #3 depending on how far along Revis is on his injury recovery, in 2014 draft. Revis, was a solid dude and he will be missed. He has many strengths, but his biggest weakness was trying to be a business man instead of a football player. In 10-15 years he might regret his longing desire for money over the pursuit of championship glory.

I'm not going to hold a grudge, it's whatever. I may seem biased because his name is in my handle. it's not like he was on our team last year, and left for the Pats. we weren't even trying to get him this offseason. his reps called us, Idzik, Woody or Rex didn't talk with him. He's New England's headache now.
