I had a few opportunities to watch Michael Bush in high school. Believe it or not, he was an All State QB. I remember when he was a senior, he passed for over 500 yards, threw something like 5 Td's and ran for 2 more and his team still lost in the state finals in triple overtime!!! When he had first gotten to Louisville, they gave him a shot at QB. How fair was the shot? We will never know, because Brian Brohm was a highly heralded player that was going to get every benefit of a doubt because of nepotism (his brother was on the staff and his other brother Jeff played at Louisville). As far as him being a running back is concerned, I think that he is "Good". Just, "Good". He reminds me of Nick Bell, remember him? I follow virtually every college football team; furthermore, Michael Bush's back-up, George Strippling, is from Leon Washington's high school here in Jacksonville. In terms of overall running backs for the upcoming season, whether they are draft eligible or not, I can give you my top 10...etc... list. 1. Adrian Peterson (Oklahoma) 2. Kenny Irons (Auburn) 3. Marshawn Lynch (Cal) 4. Michael Bush (Lou) 5. Lynell Hamilton (SDSU) 6. Darren McFadden (ARK) 7. Lorenzo Booker (FSU) 8. Jamaal Charles (TEX) 9. Jonathan Stewart (ORE) 10. Alonzo Coleman (HAMPTON)/ Steve Slaton (WVU)/Brian Leonard (RUT)
Wow Michael Bush was a QB in High School??? I've never heard that before!! Seriously, this thread is all about Captain Obvious....
