Here are the stats: WR stats You will find that out of the WR's that had 50 or more catches C. Chambers is dead last out of 82 players in completion percentage. T. Owens is about 40% better in that same stat. Yeah C. Chambers is money.
yeah, I posted that earlier. Chambers is dead last in DPAR for 2006 and 2nd to last in DVOA catch% is different than drops, though. catch % represents the percentage of passes to this receiver completed.
I know, there is no formal stat for dropped passes. However, there were several reliable commentators that said C. Chambers is no.1 in that particular stat. So in the abscence of definitive proof, the amount of passes completed to the WR is about the most reliable # you can use and it is plainly visible to everyone that C. Chambers is woefully lacking in that stat. Actually dead last in 2006 is the better way of saying that.
Which players would you have broken the bank on to get here this off season that would have made us contenders? If you're arguing that we are more than 5 players away why would we bring in high priced Veteran FA's this off season, why not clear space have another draft or two and than bring in a couple of impact veteran FA's, exactly what the Jets management is doing? If we suck which appears to be the case and need to rebuild, why not rebuild and than add a couple of key pieces in FA?
miamipuke...... here is a stat for you , and its the most important one in football.... chambers has more lifetime touchdowns and has played 1 less season. but to you touchdowns dont mean a thing as long as you feel right.... you can have all the stupid stats you want i'll take a touchdown anyday......
why is it you dont like chad and his completion percentage when you argue for coles and his meaningless stats? you my friend cater to your personal favorites , and neglect reason for your biased opinion. i may be pessimistic but i dont play favorites and then try to prove a point..
