when did we start having to put names with every single report that comes out? I don't give a flying fuck who broke the story. this isn't toward you poeman its a general thing, I saw something on espn ticker last night and they spent as much ticker space on who broke the story as they did on the actual fucking story itself.
I work in the news media industry, I can tell you there was a brief time where these big ass broadcast stations were literally "Breaking News" without crediting the person who really broke it. This is ESPN obviously who was abusing this...I agree its become a real thing now about who breaks news first, especially with social media and Twitter are the center of it all. Die-hard fans also use it to follow certain writers and writers want to break the story first to build trust with the readers. For example, this is why everyone laughs at Stephen A Smith when he says something is going to happen, of Eklund and his "sources" with hockey deals. But people respect Adrian Woj from Yahoo.com and the TSN guys for hockey. For the post I made earlier, I literally copied and pasted that from finheaven lol
