Agreed but he didn't have an above average supporting cast on offense either.

Such a terrible, selfish football player.

Also, I'd like to direct this board to the Scott's Tots episode of The Office.

Hard pass on Watson. He would cost too much and no guarantee he would be successful. I say trade the pick back and put a team around Darnold, plus I want to give Morgan some time.

One of my favorite episodes of TV ever. My wife can't watch it when it's on because of how cringey it is.

Some people just don't think. They just spew nonsense. I just don't understand. Even when you lay it all out for them.

The cringe is what makes it so funny.

I'm a huge fan of cringe comedy, she can't stand it. I have no idea how she became such an Office megafan because Michael is the definition of cringe, top to bottom.

I was hoping this would end sooner rather than later.

My hopes are fading away rather quickly at this point

I would be shocked if there's an answer to this before March when the league year starts and other dominoes fall. I sure hope something happens sooner but I just don't see the Texans being in any rush to give up on the relatonship.

Douglas had to draft Morgan for a reason. The Patriots wanted him, which means he's clearly the next Tom Brady!

It's been stated probably 100 times in this thread that this can't be resolved until at least beginning of the league year on March 17th.

not officially. But they can announce the agreement in principle beforehand. It has happened a lot in recent years

Agreements in principle are not contractual obligations and the Texans ownership has already shown that they don't really value them.

First time since Trevor Lawrence being the lock to the Jets, anyway.

There’s no reason for them to rush it. The draft isn’t until the end of April. Things will be a lot clearer after they sign their coach. I can’t think of a situation where a team backed out of a deal agreed on in principle, but I guess it could happen.
