A good hard fought battle both ways does make it easier to swallow if you end up on the losing end. These days you never know which team(s) are going to show up on any given Sunday. There have been a lot of games this year where a team has gotten the doors blown off it, then moved on to the next week and blown the doors off someone else you would not have guessed. Hopefully the team will be ready and not shrink from the pressure and challenge.
I really feel like D'Brick is ready to show the Nation why he was the first lineman taken in this years draft. Jason Taylor, who has been dominating for most of the season, will look ordinary at best against Ferguson this week. The only Jason Taylor highlights on Tuesday morning will be him being served pancakes. This is what I hope anyway.
Can you imagine how lucky ESPN got when they picked this came. I am sure they thought this game was going to be the blowholes key to open the door to the SB & now the game has done a 360 & they may now get the best rating of the year cause it means so much to us
They might have picked it just because it's Jets-Miami and that's always entertaining, regardless of the records. Especially on Christmas night, with big ratings with the NY market.
H'mmm could be but normally 4-12 teams from the year before are not invited on to MNF. Miami was probably picked on last years finish & all those "experts" predicting they were going to the SB this season so they figure that this game would be the clincher for them in that regard bringing hi ratings around the country just not in NY & Mia
Remember that MNF has been relegated to a 2nd class broadcast this year, along the lines of SNF previous seasons. Last nights game was the first one in awhile that was actually an interesting matchup from a general NFL fans perspective, playoff implications notwithstanding.
All I want for Christmas is.....Miami on a stick, Chad to throw for 300+, Leon & Cedric to run for 100+ each, Miller to runback a kickoff right after a Miami field goal, Ben Graham to knock McMichael's teeth out during a punt return, Vilma and Ellis to sack Ms. Cleo 5 times each, and Nuge to hit a game winning 65 yard field goal. Santa...is that too much to ask?
It is very complicated, but if the Jets lose, we severly hurt our chances of getting in the playoffs. Right now, I'm just going to worry about the Jets handling their own business and hopefully after this weekend, it all clears up and we get a win and in scenario.
Even after some of our worst years we've gotten national TV games vs Miami. It's one of those rivalries that usually produces memorable games, like Washington-Dallas.
Since neither of us really know why continue to debate it? IAC is is very nice to be featured on MNF. Hopefully we will not lay a smelly egg
May you be right. I think we're going to have a tough time with their defense, tho. 34 points would be off the chain vs. them (although the Fudge Pack did do it...so there you go...).
Its gonna be tough.....they got a really good front 7....especially JT playin really good....:finssuck:
The best option is for the Jax to loose. Period. If they do we control our destiny. If they win, we do not. You want to control your destiny, not bank on someone else. Go Patsies go.
Yes that is it also IMHO but some other supporter thought it would be better for Jax to win so we could win the division
Chad should have another good game threw the air against the Dolphins weak secondary. As far as the palyoffs go, whatever happens these next two weeks happens for a reason, GO JETS.
we definitely need a huge game from D'Brick and I think he will contain Taylor for the most of the time
