I thought is was apparent that Sanchez hadn't advanced, gone up the curve, before that game. But shame on Tanny replacing Damien Woody and Tony Richardson with WFH and The Terminator Fail, and making Matt Mulligan the blocking TE.....Horrible
That was the game when Haloti Ngata destroyed him in the backfield and gave him the stinger that kept turning him into a bitch for the rest of the season. Up to that point, he was on pace to break Jets QB passing records, although after seeing Fitz do exactly that and still get swept by the Bills, I now realize it wasn't an impressive feat.
Sorry if that offends you, but breaking Jets passing records is like being the least retarded kid on the short bus.
Passing records were easy to come by last year for some players. 5 guys broke their team's franchise records for TD's thrown in a season and several more were within a few of the team record. Guys who broke the TD record - Ryan Fitzpatrick, Blake Bortles, Eli Manning, Carson Palmer and Russell Wilson. Guys who came close - Derek Carr, Kirk Cousins and Cam Newton. It was a strange year, because performances were uneven for some top QB's and some guys came out of nowhere to set records late in their careers.
