Ouch, starting a thread that was already made? That is bad luck for you and your team.

he doesn't think so. Methinks you're trying to invent bad karma.

Starting a thread for the next series before your current one is over? Now THAT could be considered bad karma!

That's the mindset I'm going in with. This team's gotta go out and now balance out this terrible stretch with an equal-but-opposite amazing stretch.

This series pretty much epitomizes everything that's happened this season between these 2 teams, as when the Yanks were underperforming, the Mets were the best team in the NL, and almost on the dot when the Yanks turned it around, the Mets took a massive nosedive. It seems like neither can succeed at the same time.

interesting lineup. I'm ok with it, except for Franco. Franco against Clemens?

I was hoping willie would be aggressive with a 3-1 count on wright and with beltran and reyes on. I really wanted him to send the runners. oh well. would've been bases loaded and no one out.

How do you know that? A-Rod could've thrown out Wright on that dribbler

Fearless, Ollie. Good pitching to get the K on A-Rod.

What do you mean you doubt it? The ball was hit slowly, but hard enough so that A-Rod could stand on third and pick it up while on the base to get Beltran. He wouldve clearly charged and thrown, and wouldve had a good chance at getting him.

I sure hope Clemens won't be given much leeway with the pitchcount.
