If they're shit talking a Yankee fan of course they would bring this up. I don't see how this translates into it being the Mets biggest achievement since 86 though.

If you're shit talking a Dolphins fan you're going to bring up the Monday Night game but obviously that isn't the biggest moment in Jets history since 69.

 

Maybe a team that has done nothing since 2000 shouldn't be talking to a team that has a WS title and 3 league pennants?

I do have friends in the Boston area who are pats and sox fans and yes for the most part i'm pretty silent. What can I come back at a Pats fan w/ now? I find things to make fun of them for but on the field it's no contest.

Lets not live in the past....This is this year, and now. You yankee fans are so spoiled that your season starts in September. Sooner and later that era's gonna end, possibly starting this year. If you don't win your division this year there is a very high likelihood you'll be looking in from the outside. I truly believe the Mets will make more playoff appearances than the stanks in the next 10 years. As for this series, we will blow Johnson off them mound by the 4th inning. Pedro will outduel Moose winning 4-1, and we will finish the series off in Glavine fashion with a 2-1 win.
.......and for you stankees fans, good luck this year. Your gonna need it more than the Mets winning your division. My prediction......
