The key quote I heard tonight is that Manuel acknowledged that he is the reason why Mejia is being used as a reliever on the major league club, and that other people in the organization disagree with that. You don't get hot streaks when you go 1 for 12 with RISP, or when your starting pitchers can't go past 6 innings or even go 6 innings without giving up at least 3 or 4 earned runs.
