1 hour and 58 mins..would've been like 20 mins less if Cishek did his job.

Unexpected win tonight. Nats losing again too. Maybe they arent our biggest challenge in the East?

One of the fastest games I've ever watched. Murphy was the savior last night. It still doesn't excuse him from the other night. The Guy needs to be consistent in the field as Flores is subpar at SS. We can't have both middle infielders play like ass. Last two games have been Murphs best from the plate, so that is a good sign.

I feel like last nights win was such a momentum swing that this team needed. It would not surprise me to see them rattle off 4 or 5 in a row again.

Too funny, I looked up and before I knew it, it was the 7th inning.

    Very refreshing.

It's a long season, the Nats pitching staff can only be held down for so long, and everything seems to go south for the Mets after the all star break.

I'm tempering my expectations right now.

I would be surprised if the mets ran away with this division from the start, they would have to play some sick baseball to accomplish that, I don't see it happening.

I do like the cushion they are establishing, because at some point they will slump.

Very true. Although I think Strasburg is very overrated that staff is good enough to turn it aroundZ But it's weird how they are losing so many divisional games. Maybe when Rendon gets back the offense wakes up but their lineup is very mediocre. LaRoche was a big loss for them. Their pen isn't real good either.

But yeah I think eventually they cut into the lead. Big series starting Thursday.

This team is just the anti 2014 team. Let's hope it continues.

Mets lose unfortunately. Weird lineup today. Not taking Torres out smh Terry. Lagares throws haven't been as good as they were in the past.

Well Murph proved me wrong for a night or two... Long may it continue

Cuddyer worries me , if he struggles we have no real immediate AAA replacement. Also long term we need to improve our bench options after ASB I want to see Reynolds and Herrera up instead of Tejada and Campbell... Let's see what they do as role players and potential long term solutions

Overall I really feel we are one or two players away ... Hope we swing a trade or two to push us over line

Lagares was always my man .... So pleased he has grown and proved people wrong from the AAA player terry wouldn't trust when he first came up... People forget now but he struggled to get at bats early on.... mets should learn from that!

Hopefully we can win the series by winning tonight.

I just bought tickets for $41 a pop in the promenade gold right behind home plate (obviously it isn't lower level, it's mezzanine I think??) for Friday when Harvey pitches. I haven't seen him pitch live so I'm reslly excited. Anyone ever sit there before???

First slump of the year for us. Hopefully going home gets us back on track. Nats are playing much better so this weekends series is going to tell us a lot.

3 runs on 1 hit for the Nats. Defense kills us again.

The nationals have won 15 of last 16 games at Citified and have out scored the Mets 104-32.

Harvey is flat out unreal. Makes a teams thats scored like 45 runs in the last 3 games look average.

Flores' head is all messed up. The clock is ticking on this kid.

Familia has been a god send
