Looks like the billboard crowd is at it again. A recipe for success! http://espn.go.com/new-york/mlb/sto...ds-citi-field-urge-wilpons-sell-new-york-mets
Whats the point in these billboards? 1) The owners will never comply and 2) What a bad year to put them up. Three years ago, sure. But not this year when we have a serious opportunity to make the playoffs. Just dumb.
Crazy crazy game. Missed calls, replay challenges disallowed, catchers interference, Harvey waives off an intentional walk and intentionally DRILLS Chase Utley and the crowd goes wild, crazy. _
Mets are about to be screwed. It seems unlikely that Wright or Cuddyer play tomorrow. They'll have to send down a pitcher and bring up someone up, at the minimum. One of them might go on the DL. Maybe Reynolds gets the call?
The best crowd ever at Citi field? I think so! Harvey didn't have his best stuff but hey he's human. I know some Mets fan aren't crazy about the ballpark but I think it's a beautiful park. When it's jumping like it was last night it's a beautiful thing.
Yup but they are calling it a mild hamstring pull. I hope this isn't a rerun of Mets injuries past where they say "hamstring pull day-to-day" and the guy ends up having season ending lupus surgery. _
d'Arnaud in the 2 hole singles in his first at bat. Nice. I hate Jackie Robinson day with everyone wearing number 42. Thankfully it's tonite, heading to my first game at Citifield tomorrow night. _
Always fun to sweep Philly. That team is just in shambles. Would not be shocked to see them lose 100 this year.
That's bullshit. If it takes you a million years to find evidence to over turn a call then you don't have definitive proof and the call should have stood.
Agreed. I'd love to see the replay the umps saw that changed their minds. 5 mins to get a call wrong. Ridiculous. I'm not sure dArnaud got the tag down on Ichiro but he was called out. If he was called safe the play should've stood too. There was nothing I saw that made me think an overturn was coming. Umps the last week have been flat out bad for us.
