I guess the first thing the Mets need to do is GET PITCHERS WHO THROW STRIKES.

Can't believe I'm NOT talking about Diaz here.

Terrible pitching in this series - they really haven't given themselves a chance.

Dodgers just the better team, and probably the best team in baseball.

Bases loaded no outs and no runs to show for it. Pretty emblematic! Not to say the outcome would be different but Mendoza has done nothing to help matters.

Just hit me tomorrow is probably gonna be the last home game Pete plays for the Mets. We’re the first team to issue 8 walks in 4 consecutive games.

26 days later than we would have expected it to be.

I lost track but i think that 30%-35% of the totals runs the dodgers have scores have come from walks.

The only way Soto stays in the Bronx is if he leaves money on the table. Stevie isn’t going to let Hal offer more — i would bet a lot of money that our offer is the highest. Fortunately for us, Soto has Boras as an agent.

If this team could just get hits when they have men on base this would have been competitive the last two days. They just completely shut down when the opportunity is there.

Extend this series tommorow please. Dodgers using the bullpen like they did in game 2.

Beat the pen in game 5. Manaea on the mound for 6 and steals it. Anything goes game 7 :oops:

It's not impossible. Just need to get hits when it matters.

Hopefully the fan base comes out strong tommorow. This team deserves all the support they can get after overachieving so hard this year.

Walking everyone on the Dodgers and the Mets swinging at shitty pitches and staring at the good ones, and leaving men to rot on base.

It’ll be such a shame if the game 1 decision of starting senga bites them and then manaea doesn’t get a chance to pitch a second time in this series.

Just a bone headed decision from the start.

If I remember correctly, didn't Senga start slowly last year and then get himself going? So, to start him in a playoff game was a dumb move when he hadn't played.

This series would be over 4-0 sweep if Manaea started game 1. Mets did not score a run that night as Mendoza anticipated Flaherty being difficult so even if Mannaea started it would have been a loss and this series would have been over in 4.

Mannaea starting game 2 is the reason why we are still alive.
