Let’s be honest our bench situation sucks and you have to blame Eppler for that. Oh I forgot about the pen too. Honestly the deadline was so bad that I have no confidence in him going forward.

Supposedly deGrom was pulled after 6 innings yesterday because of a blister on his middle finger that started in his previous awful start in Oakland.

    https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id...acob-degrom-leaves-game-blister-middle-finger

All I know is that if deGrom pitches in the postseason the way he's pitched in his last few starts, whether they win the division or not is irrelevant, because the team is going nowhere. There are five people who have to be at the tops of their games for the Mets to have a chance (deGrom, Scherzer, Diaz, Alonso, and Lindor).

I am so happy they moved Canha down out of the 4 spot. Dude has been brutal since the grandslam he hit. I looked it up on my phone earlier so I may be wrong, but I believe Wright in his last two starts vs the Mets is 0-2 with 16 IP, 9 runs, and 5 HRs. No reason not to put up good numbers tonight vs him. Lets go get one.

I don’t get calling these guys up and not giving them some consistency.

Are the Mets ever going to get a big hit?

And now Scherzer giving up some hard-hit balls to start the bottom of the 4th.

And it's tied up. Do not have a good feeling about this game.

Have to add McNeil to the list of crucial players - he really has had a tremendous season.

Unbelievable. Back-to-back aces coming up small when the Mets need them most.

I think he realized he doesn't have to swing for the fences to be productive.

God, this team sucks when it counts.

Unless there's a miracle comeback, looks like they'll be in the Wild Card round, and it wouldn't surprise me if they don't get out of it.

7 runs in 11 innings from the two best pitchers in baseball doesn’t cut it.

Mets shouldn't even be in this situations. Weak part of the schedule they said.

Lets get one tonight! First pitch didn’t even happen yet and I’m on the edge of my seat.
