Vogelback + Naquin both paying dividends so far. Love Diaz being brought in right there to finish off the 2-3-4 hitters. Good move by Buck

Wow, lucky ending for the Mets on the inadvertent 3-0 dribbler. No Diaz tomorrow for sure, but a big win tonight.

Yeah I'm not sure why that guy was even checking his swing up 3-0 in the count, but w/e we take it.

It's going to be interesting how Buck navigates the pen these next 3 days. Definitely no Diaz tomorrow, but maybe 1 of the DH games + Sunday?

Well, that's why you use Diaz for six outs yesterday - you have no idea if you're going to be able to use him today anyway.

Nice start for the boys, with Pete and Vogelbach coming through with big hits, but a McNeil double play ends the threat. Given how shaky Peterson looked in the top of the first, I think they're going to need to keep pouring it on.

It appears that WCBS blocks the game streaming if you're out of town. What you should do is open up a VPN, using New York as the location; if you do that, it will treat you as being in-market, and you'll get the game (I just confirmed this using Windscribe - it didn't work when the VPN said I was in LA, but did work when the VPN said I was in New York).

Great job Peterson! Why take him out at 81 pitches though?

Lindor with his third hit of the day, driving in two to make it 5-0.

Lugo and Ottavino coming up small. The Mets still have to have worries about their 7th/8th inning pitching.

Lindor with another ribby gets it up to a six run lead.

Awful job by Lopez forces the Mets to bring in Diaz.

Diaz finishes up the very big win.

With Scherzer and deGrom starting the two remaining games, the Mets have a decent shot (maybe a 40% chance?) at taking 4 out of 5 in this series.

It's nice seeing Lindor play well! Pete drives the 1st run in.

Replay gets it right as Alonso is safe at the plate. After some shoddy defense for Atlanta in this game, that was two great defensive plays on that play, but Alonso got a toe in before he was tagged.

Great start for Scherzer as he strikes out the side in the seventh.

Now comes the more nervous time in the 8th and 9th (would really like to not need Diaz in this game, since history suggests that even if deGrom pitches great tomorrow he won't have a big lead).
