What do I want? Whatever it takes for Soto or Ohtani. I think prospects are drastically overrated and with Soto you are getting a guy who is 23 YO and on a 3000 hit + HOF trajectory. I wonder what happens with Hosmer. He has 3 years 39 left and a player option after 2022. There is no way he is taking that opt out because he won't get that much on the market again right? Ruf and Davis are basically the exact same player, both this year and during their careers, and Ruf is seven years older. This trade makes absolutely no sense, and smells of idiotic desperation.
