Unbelievable back-to-gift gifts from the Marlins, as they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the bottom of the 10th.

Fuck that, if we are going to win the division, we need to sweep these teams: "every once in a while".

Fun little factoid - yesterday's game was the first time the Mets won a game on a walk-off error by the other team with two outs in extra innings since ..... Game 6 of the 1986 World Series.

The ~.500 pattern continues - 18-16 over the last 5 1/2 weeks. Splitting a four-game series at home against this team just isn't going to cut it.

Alonso, McNeil, Diaz, and Marte named to the All-Star team.

Time to bring up the rescue kiddies. Alvarez, Vientos, Baty.. Can't be any worse than Escobar, Nido or Davis.

Tonight is a massive game for us. I hate the pitching matchup tomorrow

There’s no reason for Vientos not to be in the Bigs.

I wouldn’t bring up Baty yet. He hasn’t seen a single pitch at AAA.

Agreed. I think Vientos might be the most Big league ready. Alvarez will be up before Labor Day if the Mets keep hitting like they are lately.

I bet the Mets straight up to win tonight. I know the Braves are home but the Mets have their best non-injured pitcher going for them and Scherzer is a stud. I feel pretty good about them. LGM!

I hope they win but man, they gotta start hitting with RISP. Time to bring up the Rescue Kids and wake up some of our vets that seem to be on cruise control at the plate.

A solid bet would be the under. It's 7. I can see a 2-1 win for the Mets!

Think they will obtain a bat at the trade deadline?

Two names to keep an eye out for are Bell from the nats and trey Mancini

EDWIN DIAZ IS AMAZING! Huge win for us tonight. There was no reason to not pitch Diaz tonight. Go win the game and make sure you get it. Can’t worry about tomorrow because who knows if you even need him

Other than Ottavino leading to some nervousness, solid game for the boys from Queens, with Scherzer and Diaz leading the way.

It will be shocking if the Mets win this game.
