Big opportunity upcoming for the Mets here. Atlanta and Philly are playing a 4 game series, then the Mets play Philly. Can get both teams 10 games back at the end of May…

I admit that I gave up when it was 8-2 Giants. Amazing comeback, blown lead, lead again, and now Pederson with the chance to be the biggest possible hero, if he hits a fourth home run to win it.

Not the fourth home run, but Pederson with his 8th RBI of the game to tie it up. Bad, bad outing for Diaz.

And Diaz completes the blowing of the game. Wow, that is some seriously bad pitching.

You can throw all the Diaz # at me this year and I still wouldn’t trust him. This hurts cause of the come back.

Awful pitching tonight from Bassitt, Smith, and Diaz.

Bats tried to bail them out but they couldn’t get enough apparently.

    Can’t win ‘em all folks!

Szapucki looked sharp! Man, this is exactly what I was afraid of and why I mentioned stretching out Lugo.

The starter was bad enough, hopefully McNeil isn't seriously hurt.

The Dodgers are retiring Gil Hodges’ number 14 next Saturday. He was an excellent player, and him making the Hall of Fame was overdue, but this still surprises me, given the storied history of the franchise.

I don't see any team in the worst division is baseball catching a very good team like the Mets. The Mets biggest challenge will be remaining interested while winning the NL Least by 14 games.
