WTF is Rojas doing challenging that? That wasn't even remotely close to being a catch. He really is a complete idiot.

Hey, @Savatage , Mazeika gets his third RBI before his first major league hit, and two are game-winning RBI! What is the record for most RBI before your first major league hit?

Am I the only one excited about facing Harvey? There was a time I felt for him the way I feel about DeGrom lol. When things were good with him it was good. So I don’t appreciate him for that. I hope we rock him though, obviously. Ha

Pillar and Villar has been such a great addition to this team. Big reason why they win games.

A perfect Harvey Day from my point of view - the fans got to thank him for his work here up through the 8th inning of Game 5 of the 2015 World Series, and then he pitched the way he pitched here from the 9th inning of that game through 2018.

They really should agree on a pronunciation, however - it's very confusing going from Pil-lar to Vee-yar. o_O

Put it in the books - 7 in a row. On to a nine-game road trip.

Boobie Von Overhisheaden should've never been hired. Thank God the Wilponzi's are gone.

First 14 Mets go up and down, and then the -illar boys strike - Pillar with an infield hit, Villar with a two-run homer.

Peterson with a good start, but he probably shouldn't have been brought out to start the 8th, or at least should have been pulled after the home run. May can't get the third out without damage, and it's 2-2 going to the 9th.

The Polar Bear comes home to Tampa and takes the Golden Sombrero on his father's birthday. Ouch.

Alonso with yet another K in the first, but hits one out in the 3rd to make it 4-1 Mets.

Lucchesi follows up his excellent bullpen day performance last time with a stinker this time, and it's 4-4.

Wow, the bullpen has really blown up yesterday and today. So much for the good feelings from the 7-game winning streak.

Barnes comes in after it gets to 6-5 and ends it, helped by the Gold Glover Lindor makes a terrible play on a Baltimore chop (after hitting a home run). Sigh.

Quite the crappy series sweep. McNeil and Conforto both get hurt along the way with hamstring pulls, and Nimmo and Davis are seemingly as far away from returning as they've been.
