So far it's exactly the same as last year - he hasn't really done anything to make you say he's bad, but he also hasn't done much of anything to make you say he's good. His managerial WAR seems to be about 0.
Mets better figure themselves out on defense because it's going to cost them some wins. They weren't gonna be the greatest team on defense but they shouldn't be this bad. They are embarrassing themselves out there.
One nice defensive situation to have is a catcher who can absolutely throw runners out (nice tag by McNeil also). Mets fail once again with RISP in the 10th.
