    Fucking joke.

When the morons on the Fox broadcast are calling out your stupidity , you know things are bad.

This team is flat out garbage right now.

Zero motivation. And thats how you lose to inferior teams.

I thought the Braves were suppose to be one of the worst, if not the worst team in baseball? This Mets team is such a joke right now.

This team's an embarassment right now. I'm half expecting to hear about a TC firing tomorrow morning cause this series was that bad.

I'm stating to hate to think where we are going to be by the all-star break.

And to think we have KC Atlanta. Then Washington x2 Cubs and Marlins before all star break.

Maybe the Nats will take Syndergaard and Matz for Murphy

Supposedly the team is considering Reyes and Gourriell.

Reyes would be much cheaper but what would he come here to do? Play 3rd? 2nd? That has disaster written all over it. If Walker is going to play 3rd in that scenario I rather just see Herrera.

Gourriel would instantly get rid of the bad taste currently in every fans mouth.

Well, at least there is a silver lining, anyway.

I appear to be in the minority but I don't want Reyes back on this team.

I'm 50/50 on it. On one hand, he's a veteran bat and is definitely going to be better than some of the guys who are pinch hitting for us, but we are definitely not getting the Reyes back in the day and people can't be expecting that or they will be sorely disappointed.

Agreed. After the domestic violence stuff I want no part of him. Gourriell is the better option, and Cespedes would love it.

What I'm wondering now, is why are the Mets not willing to even consider trading Wheeler to upgrade the hitting? They are absolutely loaded with pitchers right now. It makes sense to deal one.

I wouldn't trade Wheeler. I'm always concern about Matz durability. Plus I really don't want to trade what may be a stud SP for a rental. If they were going to trade one of the pitchers it has to be for a player that's going to solidify a position for a long time, imo. Colon pitches today, Noah tomorrow. Good move. Now he can pitch against the Nats.

Jim Henderson to DL with biceps tendinitis & Sean Gilmartin called up. Travis d'Arnaud back & Kevin Plawecki to AAA.

Mets sending Zack Wheeler for tests after an elbow setback.

Even if I wanted them to trade him, does he really have the trade value that we would want? He has to prove that he's healthy and can actually pitch before teams would want to give anyone good for him.

So Colon and Syndergaard switched spots in the rotation. Colon got one out and then got hit on the thumb by a line drive.
