Classic case of each team trying their hardest to hand each other the win..only thing that worked in our favor tonight was the fact that we were playing the Brewers. Atleast Harvey seems to be all the way back. Velocity is up. Movement is there. Confidence too. That plus a win and I guess ya cant ask for much more.
I was screaming the same thing at the time. Has Teuffel been in a coma all season??? If not, he has to know that you can't leave the game in the hands of Kevin Plawecki. EVER. And as it turns out, the throw was horrendous. Should have been an easy run. This station to station BS is how you get 10 hits and only score 2 runs. And btw ... The point you make is exactly why Granderson kills us batting leadoff. How many times this season have we seen the middle of the order guys get on base to start the inning, only to be stranded in scoring position by 8, 9, and 1? Terry has to stop stacking these automatic outs. It's time to move Granderson back in the order and/or give Lagares more starts batting leadoff.
Not only does moving Granderson back help with splitting up automatic outs, it gives us a little more pop in the middle of the lineup.
He dialed it up to 97 from what I saw but was steadily around 94-95. Hit his spots with consistency. His breaking stuff was much better last night too. Made a couple Brewers hitters look bad with his off speed pitches.
I need this baseball game today. I need the distraction. For the entirety of the game I'm going to try hard not to cry and think about how awful people are! Terry Collins is at hospital undergoing tests after feeling ill. I hope all will be well.

The lineup today compared to what is was on opening day is a scary difference. We're not getting 3 runs today even off this team.
This is disgusting. Such a sloppy game and put us in trouble early when we clearly don't have the firepower to dig ourselves out of it.
