Well, now we can go back to hating on the Mets like usual and talking about how Murphy has no true defensive position. Man how does a team lose a WS like the Mets have? Embarrassing
Well, its crappy the way it ended........ But we were not suppose to beat the Nationals...... We were not suppose to get past the Dodgers or the Cubs either. We overachieved.........Hopefully the Mets will use this experience going forward........
Well KC was the better team. Hopefully the young guys can take this experience and use it for good in the future like the Royals did.
Don't let them off the hook. It would be one thing if we got our asses handed to ourselves, but you look at the ways they have lost and it's almost unforgivable.
I completely agree....... however we couldn't hit and played shaky defense for the majority of the year......... Everything we did poorly in the regular season, bit us in the ass here........

It is unforgivable. They couldn't hit. The bullpen sucked. The fielding was atrocious. We were winning three games until the end and choked it away. We were the opposite of clutch. One of the sloppiest playoff performances in sports history. The team blew it's wad and reverted to all of its bad habits instead of stepping up.
I think I heard that the Royals have scored 51 (!!!) runs from the 7th inning on this postseason. That would be 40 (!!) runs more than anyone else. That's how it's possible. Amazing.
Cespedes Murphy(even though I've always liked him) gone? What about Duda? I don't think he's an everyday player.
