    Officially the longest Game 1 in World Series history. Last one was the 2000 Subway Series that ended in 12 after the Mets also blew a 9th inning lead.

    I hated that guy.... Benitez. Had great stuff but the mind of a 3 year old.

    Game 1 was also where Timo Perez made the blunder coming around 3rd and got nailed at the plate. We win the game if he doesn't and I still think the series

    I hated him too. The flashbacks I'm having right now from my first WS :(. 9 years later I was handed a 2000 WS baseball from my friend. Only held it for two minutes.
