Duda is having a rough day. Some real bad defense.

As long as we keep handling our business it doesn't really matter what the Nationals do. We pretty much slammed the door on them last week. Just don't go and get swept by the Marlins and this division race could for all intents and purposes be over by next weekend.

Gotta focus on finishing ahead of the Dodgers, that should be the goal. Have a better record then them the last 3 weeks of the season. This is a 3 week season now.

I don't understand, why take Verrett out? Unless he's hurt this doesn't make any sense.

I love the late season addition of EY Jr.

A player like that needs to be on the postseason roster. He can steal us some important runs.

Just realized that the Mets have 4 separate winning streaks of atleast 7 games. I doubt anyone would know but I cant remember the last time we ever had even 2 streaks of that many games. Maybe 06 or 07 but I doubt it.

Am I the only one who thinks the Mets should skip DeGrom at least once?

If we lose today- we weren't going to win them all but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concern about Degrom. Get him some rest Terry.

Yea deGrom could probably use some rest. I just dont want to risk doing what the Cardinals did with Wacha and Martinez. They rested both thinking their race was over and all of the sudden Pittsburgh was right back in it. So the question TC is gonna have to ask himself is how early is too early?

He didnt really look tired out there tonight , was still hitting 96-97 on the pitches he was getting hit on , just looked like he was missing high.

Id skip him once though. He wasnt going to pitch against the Yanks and we have the Braves after that. There's still enough games after that to give him another start or two before the end of the regular season.
